The Vice President shall assist the President in the discharge of her duties and in the absence of the President shall assume all the duties and responsibilities pertaining to the office of the President. In the event of the death or resignation of the President, the Vice President shall become President, with all the powers and duties of the office. She shall be authorized to sign checks in place of the President and/or Treasurer in an emergency. The Vice President shall receive and process all insignia orders. She shall order and be the custodian of all official ribbons, badges and flags of the Division, with the exception of pages and aides ribbons. She shall also supervise the sale of the Florida Division Official Pin and Florida Officers pins.
She shall review applications for the Winnie Davis Medal and Stonewall Jackson Medal and shall forward approved applications, accompanied by checks made payable to the Treasurer General UDC, to the Vice President General. She shall be in charge of membership. She shall receive an annual report from the Chairman of the Organization of New Chapters Committee. She shall submit such report to the Vice President General on or before October 20 prior to the Annual General Convention. At the Annual Division Convention she shall preside at the President’s Dinner, and with the cooperation of the Division President and Convention Chairman, prepare the program. She shall preside during the District Director’s Reports at Florida Division Convention. She shall submit a report to the Annual Division Convention.
